"Gal on the Go Spotlight”
is our way of celebrating inspiring women from our Suitcase Gals community who embrace adventure, share their travel stories, and encourage others to explore the world with confidence.
Tell us about a client you’ve worked with and the outcome that made you most proud.
One of the clients I’m most proud to have worked with came to me with over 18,000 digital photos on her phone and a heartfelt goal: to create a graduation gift album for her child—in just six weeks. Understandably, she felt overwhelmed. I used my background in teaching to break the project into manageable phases, creating a clear timeline so we both knew what needed to happen and when. I also sent her short how-to videos tailored to her phone to simplify the process of narrowing down her collection.
She did an incredible job getting it down to 2,000, and from there, I stepped in to curate and design four luxury-level photo albums that told the story of her child’s life. The final result was a set of stunning 12x12 layflat linen-covered books—beautiful, high-quality keepsakes she described as “wedding album level.” She was proud to gift them, and I was honored to help create something so meaningful. Even more importantly, she felt truly supported and cared for throughout the process—and that’s the kind of outcome that makes this work so fulfilling for me.
What’s on your travel or life bucket list and why?
This is a tough one—I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have lived in four countries on three continents and visited over 50 countries, including volunteering in a few along the way. I’ve explored every continent except Antarctica, so my travel bucket list is pretty well checked off (though there’s always more to see!).
That said, Brazil, Peru, and Chile are high on my “never been before” list. I’d love to explore the culture, history, and landscapes of South America—maybe even hike to Machu Picchu or dance my way through Rio during Carnival!
As for my life bucket list, I’m still hoping to find my “second-half-of-life” partner. Life—and especially travel—is just more fun when shared. Ideally, he’ll love golf as much as I do, but I’m open to surprises!
If your business had a travel personality, where would it go and what would it pack?
If my business had a travel personality, it would be a time traveler—part historian, part storyteller, part digital nomad.
It would journey back to attics, basements, and memory boxes, carefully packing white gloves, a scanner, and archival supplies to rescue forgotten treasures. Then it would leap forward, helping today’s travelers turn digital photo overload into meaningful albums—packing a real camera, a journal, and a plan to print the memories before they fade.
Wherever it goes, its goal is the same: to protect the past and celebrate the present so the future can remember.
