What started as a much-needed escape from the bitter cold up north somehow turned into record-breaking freezing temperatures in Key West. Yes… Key West! Mother Nature clearly had lost her mind, but the Suitcase Gals didn’t miss a beat. We went into full tilt “Bestie Fest” mode and made the very most of every single moment.

From snapping photos at the Southernmost Point to wandering through the Butterfly Conservatory and exploring the Truman Little White House, we soaked in the island’s history and charm. The Old Town Trolley gave us the perfect narrated introduction by day, and that evening we leaned into the spooky side with the Ghosts & Gravestones tour—equal parts fascinating and fun. We sailed into golden hour aboard the “Commotion on the Ocean” catamaran and joined the lively Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square, grateful for those glowing skies after the snowfall many of us had left behind at home.

Duval Street absolutely delivered—music, laughter, and a little dancing at Sloppy Joe’s and Hogsbreath, with plenty of shopping stops in between. We savored Cuban flavors at El Meson de Pepe’s and fully embraced the indulgence at Better Than Sex Dessert Restaurant (because calories don’t count on Bestie Fest). In five fabulous days, twelve women shared endless laughs, unforgettable memories, and the kind of connection that only happens when you travel together. Fun doesn’t quite cover it—the joy, the sisterhood, and even the 2026 Snow Moon shining above us made it a getaway none of us will ever forget.
